Regional Property Manager
I am a Northern-California native, calling Sacramento home since 1980. I have 30 years of experience; primarily in multifamily & senior affordable communities. I am a Licensee with CalBRE and a Notary Public. I also hold designations in COS, RCM, TCAC in addition to multiple acknowledgements in a variety of training courses plus minor designations.
I have taught many people the fine art of property management. I have worked for large and small companies to bring a vast amount of talent to the table. My experience covers HUD, CalHFA, IHFA, Tax Credit, Bond, USDA, RHCP, Multi-Layers, Cooperative, Conventional and Single Family Home Sales. Within the various types of housing programs I have worked in New Construction Lease Up, Historical (inside a State Park), Converted Military Housing, Scattered Site, Mid Rises, SRO, Intercity and Rural Housing.
With a hands-on approach, I monitor and improve communities to achieve the highest standard of housing, agency compliance, customer service and profit for owners. My specialty is revitalizing a challenged community.
HUD Occupancy Specialist
I am the HUD Occupancy Specialist for Jordan Management. I have held this position for over 8 years. I oversee HUD compliance for 7 properties, including Cooperatives, Section 8, Section 236 and Tax Credit properties. I am a team-oriented person dedicated to ensuring compliance and facilitating employee education for all our HUD managers. I continue to keep our management staff updated on new and changing HUD regulations as it pertains to their properties. I am certified as an Occupancy Specialist, Assisted Housing Manager, Tax Credit Certified, Registered Cooperative and complete annual Fair Housing Classes.
I currently oversee and submit all Affirmative Housing Marketing Plans to HUD. Assist all properties in submitting and reconciling monthly voucher requests, conduct file audits and oversee all aspects of the HUD Enterprise Income Verification program.
Prior to becoming the Occupancy Specialist for Jordan Management Company, I managed 2 multifamily subsidized properties for Jordan Management for about 30 years.
My personal growth can surely be attributed to the Jordan Management Team and the people with whom I have had the pleasure of serving in the housing industry, and my family.
Kellie joined JMC in 2002, in an entry level position, with no experience or knowledge of the property management field, what so ever. With her mixture of good humor, common sense and attention to detail, she began to take on many more responsibilities, and quickly grew within the company. She is always up for a challenge, multi-tasks like a champ, and can always be counted on when you need her.
Kellie is the go to girl of our office. Her responsibilities include, assistant to the President, office manager, human resources, insurance compliance, travel & training coordinator. As an important part of our marketing team, she assists in procuring new business, preparing and negotiating contract terms, all while maintaining and growing current business relationships.
Her energy and excitement for property management and her rapport with the managers, employees, tenants and owners continues to make her a valuable asset to our team.
My 35 years of professional experience include various management positions in the financial world. During the past ten years, I have managed the financial operations for a few Property Management companies in the Sacramento area. Three years ago I joined the Jordan Management Company team.
As Controller for Jordan Management, my responsibilities include maintaining individual property accounting integrity along with the review and orchestration of all financial activity, fiscal reporting and audit compliance for the properties under the Jordan Management Company umbrella. I love what I do and am very fortunate to have been asked to join the Jordan Management Company Team (family).
