Jordan Management Company (JMC) is a licensed California real estate organization specializing in the management of government financed housing projects. Since 1965, JMC has provided cost effective property management for over 2,000 apartment units in Northern California and Nevada.
The Jordan Management Company has over 45 years of successful affordable property and asset management experience, subject to a regulatory agreement.
JMC is certified by a housing tax credit certification examination from Quadel Consulting, a National recognized housing tax credit compliance entity and is listed with the Committee.
JMC property management provides pro-active management, accounting, and consultation for conventional, tax credit based apartments, CalHFA, HUD
Section 8, and specializes in problem properties.
Why JMC Property Management?
Jordan Management Company uses a web-based software, OneSite, for accounting, tenant ledger management, as well as tax credit regulations and compliance.
- The Management Company is able to manage on site and remotely; as well as provide support to remote locations 24 hrs a day
- The Asset Manager is able to log in remotely, anytime, to view day-to-day financial management, compliance, tenant payments, move in’s and move out’s, and vacancy records.
- The Asset Manager is also able to produce a daily financial report, as well as delinquency reports, income and expense statements and a trial balance report
- Resident Managers make real time entries to tenant ledgers allowing for up to the minute tracking, reporting and compliance tracking

Family Owned and Operated
Jordan Management Company is owned and operated by the daughter of the founder Mr. Steve Jordan. He founded the company over 40 years ago in Sacramento, California. His original purpose for building apartments and offering rental housing management was to provide affordable housing for seniors and families, create long term management jobs for our employees and preserve the assets of our clients and partners.
Denise (Jordan) Gilbert is now the President and Owner of the company. Presently we oversee our own rental homes, duplexes and HUD and Tax Credit apartments, as well as manage the real estate investments of our clients.
Management with Personal Attention
We manage as if we owned it… The Jordan Management Company family has built and developed many apartment complexes in northern California. We manage other owner’s property investments with the same personal attention that we give our own properties.
Asset Preservation
Asset preservation is the bottom line of our management style. We plan and budget to preserve the asset of the owner, not to allow deferred maintenance to get the best of us. Planning and budgeting for the future can have a positive effect on your real estate investment.
